Meet Our Founder
Our Founder, Charné, combines unconventional thinking with extensive legal expertise across blockchain technology, tokenisation, commercial law, corporate structuring, data protection, AML compliance, risk management and regulatory frameworks.
A practising attorney with international experience, Charné holds BA Law, LLB and LLM qualifications, specialising in Web3, commercial law and corporate structuring while advising clients globally.
She is a member of the Crypto Assets Association of South Africa and the International Blockchain Lawyers Forum, and serves as Head of the African Chapter for Women in Web3 (WiW3CH).
Having guided numerous innovators through the legal complexities of Web3 and Web4 projects, Charné brings the experience needed to navigate the evolving on-chain ecosystem.
Leanne is a forward-thinking legal professional specialising in AI governance, technology and cyber law, data privacy, consumer protection, and media law. An admitted attorney and Notary Public of the High Court of South Africa, she holds an LLB, LLM and a certificate in Cyber Law.
Her career spans Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr Inc, Econet Media Limited and Sasfin Bank Limited, giving her valuable experience across commercial, technology and regulatory environments.

Leanne Maroun
Adachukwu Miracle Obodo is a Nigerian-qualified Advocate specialising in digital asset regulation, blockchain law and cross-border compliance. She advises Web3 founders, token projects, DAOs, exchanges and international law firms across Nigeria, the EU, UAE, UK and US.
Her expertise includes VASP licensing, token classification, AML/KYC compliance, smart contract advisory, entity structuring and digital asset legal opinions. Holding an LLB, B.L and a certificate in Arbitration and ADR, Adachukwu serves as Correspondent Counsel at TLA, strengthening the firm’s Web3 legal capabilities across Africa and international markets.
Hilda Ritah Mugasia is our fintech and policy expert with a strong Kenyan prescence. Her practice spans traditional finance, decentralized finance, AI-era intellectual property management and risk frameworks, and emerging data-as-an-asset models.
Dedicated to transforming insights into actionable strategies, she empowers organisations to maximize value in both tangible and intangible assets. As an adept Web3 policy strategist, Ms. Mugasia guides clients through market entry into nascent DeFi ecosystems and designs commercially sound legal strategies that convert regulatory challenges into catalysts for innovation.
